Ah i had a 2000° rod of steel accidentally get thrown down my apron. But i only felt pain while i was being burned nothing after. (I got REAL lucky) But with lower temps like that ceramic stuff it must have hurt for a while.

yeah, hopefully you didnt get a scar, i had one friend who's uncle accidentally dropped boiling Oil onto his arm, his skin had to be replaced with skin from his leg. Scary stuff ;(

Boiling water is nowhere near as hot and I don't think the amount of people watching you be boiled would change the amount of physical pain you feel

after a certain point your pain receptors would be overloaded, you would not feel the difference in pain from being boiled alive in water to molten iron. If anything, molten iron would be doing you a favor by killing you far faster and at least you won't be edible afterwards.
